‘ Origin ‘ by Marici Saxes features works by English award winning composers Michael Nyman, James Whitbourn and Peter Maxwell Davies. The album wouldn't be complete without a new composition by baritone sax player Josie Simmons. Marici have also sourced and arranged some beautiful folk music from Scotland, Native America, the Balkans and China.
